Set Design for A Streetcar Named Desire

This is a functional two level set.  A brick painted scrim was used on the second floor and when lit from behind, we could have the upstairs neighbor scenes seen by the audience.

Furniture and Decor

I sanded and restained this beat up antique chair then recovered it in a patterned brocade I felt would suit its style.

Then I made pillows from the same material.

I designed, built, and upholstered this futon couch in faux swede.  I also made the coordinating pillows.

Here is a queen size canopy bed that I designed and built out of bamboo poles and pine.  I also designed and made the sheer curtains.
